Waiting for AOR

I submitted my application on April 12, 2017 and hoping it got there on April 18 (long weekend) according to Canada post. Didn't do the msg option (wasnt aware). Still haven't heard anything...its almost been a month.
Anyone else in a same boat?

Yes am in the same boat... I cant stop going to the mail box cause i thought maybe they returned my application for dependent child.

We have the same situation, mine was sent april 19 and it was delivered on april 20, based on tracking it was delivered and up until now i havent received any email yet, its almost 2 weeks now

Hey guys
Be patient...I send mine on April 6,2017it got there on April 10,2017..
I haven't received anything yet....
I did call cic yesterday and they said that they are send out aor for applications received on April 4,2017.
Instead of worrying guys just pray ,pray,pray.

I reveived my UCI number, i dont know if its AOR or what it means. I submitted my application to mississaugua April 19

So I got an email from cic today....may 12,2017,,,,,with my application number also asking me to link my application online..........still waiting on AOR,,,,,

If I send my application while im on a work permit that expires 5th June, should I also send evidence that I've applied for extension to visitor status in case they dont look at my file until after June 5th? Which is likely looking at these AOR times
