Waiting for AOR,CWP to expire in 2 weeks :(

Hello guys

I have already submitted my application for permanent residence under the following classes:
the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class (SCLPC) and still waiting for my AOR.I have also applied for a Visitor record.

Who’s eligible to apply for a work permit without an AOR
You can only apply for a work permit without an AOR if you meet both of the following criteria:
your work permit, study permit or temporary resident status will expire in 2 weeks or less and you’ve applied for permanent residence under one of the following classes:
the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class (SCLPC) as a spouse or common-law partner.

It totally applies to me.Should i apply a work permit without AOR. Currently I have a CWP and want to apply for an open work permit.

Well, we have seen people posting about this exception to apply for OWP without AOR. But we haven't seen any post regarding to if they successfully obtain their OWPs when they applied under this condition (current WP/student permit/visitor status expiring in less than 2 weeks and haven't received AOR yet).

It's pretty common to see questions but many do not post after they got what they needed.
