Hello All,

I received an interest from Ontario nominee program on Dec 4 and submitted my documents on Dec 28. As per the timeline, doesn't look as if I will be getting the nomination soon. Visitor visa is expiring at the end of june . Could not understand should I stay here or go back to india. Do not know of what should be done, Because sitting here without any job and waiting endlessly for Immigration procedures and decisions. Your views about this scenario would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Looking at the current trend with conservative approach nomination will surely take at least 5 months.

yes then you need ontario pnp to be selected....

wait for 2 months i will say. as oopnp gives nomination or decision in 90 days.

but the problem if I need to go to india. I cant come back. Its not a multiple entry. Do you know if I could if apply for multiple entry?

yes you need to stay here. single entry visa.

even if you have multiple entry visa as a visitor you dont have any purpose to come back from india to canada as they can reject you at port of entry.

so as a visitor better you stay here. or else if something urgent then go back to india and wait for pnp and pr but it will take a year to complete all this process.

Alright, Its been more than 5 yrs now in Canada, but no clue of settlement. Its depressing.

oh thats too much. so where you are lacking your points?

is it in IELTS? or ECA.....

i have been in canada for more than 3 years. and to complete the pr process i stayed as a visitor for 15 months as my work permit expired. so i know the pain.

6.5 in ielts and i have bachelors degree from india .

so try to reach to clb 9 or 10. it will help to increase your point. check crs calculator on cic web to see how much you need to reach around 450 points.

clb 10 is max. convert ielts score to clb on google to see the comparison.

this is the area you can try to improve meanwhile you enjoy your stay as a visitor. :D :D
