WAITING - CEC october app - need information

Hello,

Forgive me for I'm still new to this forum.

My husband had sent in his application for CEC back in October (received Oct.27, 2014). We were told by the CIC call center that we should of heard back in ten weeks. That was not the case. We have no heard anything as of yet nor has the credit card been charged. We are unsure as to what we can do to find out more information or where do we go from here. I am a landed immigrant and have been since 1987, but his Work Visa expires in May and with them constantly telling us to wait a little longer we worry that his visa will expire before we hear anything.

CEC cap reached with last application Received on October 20 .Make some alternatives such as LMO,PNP or EE . Dont Waste time .

I sent mine on Oct 27th too!
NOC Code 2174 and got my application back today.

Would EE be a better choice than reapplying through family sponsors? I'm unsure how long either would take to get back to us but we just want to be sure he'll be okay with work and staying.
