Waiting after Medical

Does e-cas show "medical results have been received"?

It can take up to 6 months after medicals to have them update your file and move it forward. This is also the point at which they need the return of the background check from CSIS (the other big thing that needs to be done before the application can move forward).

Have you ordered your case notes? If not, you might want to do so, because that will tell you what's happening with your file. You have to wait a month, but at least you'll get some real news at some point.

many people think that calling medical is the end but getting medical first is the story like Rabbit and Tortoise. We got medical first and then sleep but some people got medical later then us and got Visa. I am really happy for the success of process of those people but really frustrating from my time taking process.

no the Medical line is not yet appeared, and i had not ordered the case specific note; i dont have the idea about ordering the Case note.

we are almost the same stat. I have got answer from VO but my file is waiting final review. it's almost 3 weeks now. It's true waiting is becoming hard and hard but we have to manage.

Mine was almost similar timelines ... I am also waiting after done with med and PPR.. anxiously waiting..

Hi shreevastav,

Just relax,its matter time.after medicals rejection r very rare unless problem with medicals r background check.
Cic will hv criteria and priorities in issuing visa depending on requirement in the country.

Otherwise, its usually the background check that CSIS does that takes time here. But unless you are a war criminal or have been involved in genocide or crimes against humanity (things that don't show up on your PCC) you should be fine.

in which visa office your file is?
is your draft for RPRF encashed?
mine is newyork. draft is not encashed yet.

My visa office is New Delhi.
Medical received line is not updated in my status.
The Draft was encashed on 27 July 2012.

Watch your e-cas. Once it says "medicals have been received" you're fine. If there is a medical issue, you WILL hear further from them, but you should also hear from the DMP.

Otherwise, its usually the background check that CSIS does that takes time here. But unless you are a war criminal or have been involved in genocide or crimes against humanity (things that don't show up on your PCC) you should be fine.

I dont have the history of crime and police case yet, and i have found no adverse condition of health of my family also. may i know, what types checks are taken on Background check??? please kindly reply me .

Now the NDVO had issued more medicals; its the positive news but after the waiting for visa would be boring. Any way The NDVO increased the number of people waiting Visa after Medical.Our Majority is increasing now.

Not sure if they are keeping in mind the situation of people waiting since long for Visa..

In my opinion NDVO has priorities fixed for issuing visas ie MI3,MI2,MI1.They are now close to finish mi3,mi2 by this year end our turn might come out in early 2013,thats why they have issued mr in nov-12.
