waited for 9 months for AOR

Hey there,

I did submit my application to CIC on 27 May 2014 ( I applied under economic class Ontario PNP).
It has been almost 9 months and I have not received my application number yet.

Please let me know how long have you waited to get your application number from CIC under same class

I waited 28 days to get my application number(assuming you're talking about AOR). 9 months is too long. They probably didn't receive it.

No, I emailed them and they did receive it. Does AOR number start with EP letters?
My roomate got a confirmation email that includes an application number that starts with EP letters in 3 months but I haven't got that yet.

Yes, the Immigration File Number starts with EP.

I think you should have your local MP talk with CIC.

This doesn't look good at all. I have a friend who applied first week of October and she got her file number and AOR. They might've missed you file or something. Call CIO or email them about it.

7.5 months here.. and still nothing.

There isn't any problem with your application. Applications from Ontario are on hold for some reason, and nobody knows why or how long will it take to process the applications.

Some people in Ontario get their AOR sooner than others, but especially if you've applied during the last summer (2014), than it is highly probable that your application is on hold along with the rest of us.

Keep following other topics here, there are similar people like us who are extremely frustrated about this.

I did call CIC call center today. The agent was a kinda surprised that they didn't send me my AOR so far, but she said no one can do anything about it and I only have to wait for their response!

You applied from Pakistan. I submitted my application from Toronto. That might be a little different.

This is certainly abnormal. We sent out our application back in May, 2014, and received AOR with Med's request in late June. We just mailed out the passports yesterday.

Definitely, you should call to figure things out.

The application was delivered on August 11th, 2014 to NS.

I am also an in-land OPNP applicant.
MY application was received by CIO on August 18th.
Still no AoR!!!!!
