When did you receive the letter from CIC that Etobicoke IRCC will contact you? How many weeks have you been waiting?
I got my email since October 1, and hoping b4 xmass ill get it..i dont want to upset my kids not being there for xmas.. Its really hard..i started last week of Sept .2015 of my application....but lots of hindrances..for them it takes 6 to 7 months b4 they reply..now another waiting time...some of my friends in a week some of them 1 month...so hopefully in my case doesnt goes out of this monthHi:

I read lots of post..they says the inter iew everyday is in batches..so who knows how many of us in one setuation amd not only us as under LCP....either refugee or from other aplicant from other country. Thats why it takes time and they will considared also if ur passport are in expiry they prioritzed too..or if the applicant already 5 years behind ...they are also priority. It came almost in 8weeks and scheduled for November 17.I got my email since October 1, and hoping b4 xmass ill get it..i dont want to upset my kids not being there for xmas.. Hi All...I am finally a PR of Canada!! The interview was easy just waited about 15-20 to be called to a counter. The lady was very nice and asked to see our passports. Then she wanted to see a document with a joint address so I gave her my bank statement. She asked me if I had travelled since applying for PR to which I said no. Then she asked me to verify all information on the COPR and asked me 2 basic questions, if I had committed any crime? and if I had any dependants? to which I said no! Then she said congratulations and gave us the COPR. I also got my SIN # from a different window same day. What a relief!! The PR card will come in mail in 6-8 weeks. But just wanted to check with everyone to see How much time it took for you guys between process complete email and landing appointment email? Also, wanted to know how much time they give between the landing appointment email and actual appointment?

Hi in regards to ur guestion...my experience the first email says that almost or finally done or decision made was Oct 1, 2017 then it says the Etobicoke will contact me for 2nd letter.. it took almost 8 weeks b4 i got my email for schedule for interview and that was yesterday..Nov. 22nd.
