Wait time for AOR

I mailed our application here in Canada on June 27, they received it on June 29, i know because i was tracking the package via tracking number on the package. It has been 2 months now and I still haven't received anything. I have checked my mail, email, spam, and junk folders. Nothing. I've read that it takes around 6-8 weeks for an AOR, but nothing at all. We're getting worried. What else can i do right now? Call them?

I would wait until Monday and then call because then you are at the 9 week mark. Make sure you and PA search “CIC” in your emails. Do you have a representative?

Hi Justin,

I have sent my application for my wife on the 19th of June and it was received on the 21st of June.
So please let me know if you find out anything as we are in a similar situation.

I sent my wife's application in on June 12th, and they e-mailed me on July 27th to tell us that they received it on June 14th.

Mississauga...it was an inland application. I've heard that those are now being sent to Sydney, Nova Scotia (??)

Yep that's where I sent mine and they're taking forever...
I even called them and they said it can take up to 18 weeks. Ridiculous...

Yep the agent said the max is 18 weeks to actually open the application.

On another note I have submitted a webform on the cic site and they answered (after 2 weeks) and said they couldn't locate the application and asked for more info. Now I'm waiting for an answer from the second webform submission...

Application received June 29, 2018.
