Wait for CIC or Re-Apply

Hi Guys,
I have sent my application in May and received AOR in July. However the language test that I sent with the application did meet the CLB (7,7,7,7) requirements instead was (9,8,7,6). Thanks to this forum, I discovered these requirements (Yes, I did not the information on CIC website). As a result I have taken again the language test and got CLB (9,9,8,9).
I wrote an email to ccp-ottawa (I attached both test results) asking if it was fine to send the official results that come in the sealed envelop.
It has been a week now since I sent the email. They haven't replied yet. Will they ever reply? Should I send a new application?

Generally, they return the application if it is not meeting eligibility criteria. I would suggest you to wait till their responce and than take appropriate action.

Do you mean that they will send a rejection email? Would they return the application after AOR or they usually just sent a rejection letter or email?

No they dont return application after AOR. He means to say that they shoud not have accepted it if ur score is ineligible.
Did u check if really ur old score is below what they ask ? usually CIC reply in 20 days......

I dont think they consider updated scores or work ex letters. I am waiting for rejection...

apply again then waiting for another 8 month to hear rejection from them...

One of forum member who calculated exp from PWGP INSTEAD of convocation got rejection recently it was clearly mention
in his letter that at time of application you didnt met work exp requirement. But wait what other people say here....

Correct. They only check if all the forms are submitted, not if you actually meet the eligibility criteria.

If I was you, I will go to local MP and explain my situation. CIC generally reply back to MP in 2-3 days. So please go to your local MP and local MP will ask the same query to CIC.

I agree, you should only wait for 15-20 days and then reapply.

If I was you, I will go to local MP and explain my situation. CIC generally reply back to MP in 2-3 days. So please go to your local MP and local MP will ask the same query to CIC.

I have already tried this with my SINP application. I did get a call from the SINP manager after 2 days of contact MLA, but that did not seem to move the processing of my application. Basically, he told MLA or not he will not expediate my file. It will have to queue like any body else. After 14 months of the application being sent, it still biting dust in Regina .

Try that too.. But wait for 20 days ..Its 1100$ but not worth pain of waiting

For the sake of discussion, let's assume that cic response was negative or they do not respond at all. I have 1.5 year of experience with my former employer and now I have just completed 13 months with my current employer. Do I necessarily need a reference letter from my first employer?

You can attach description why you are not able to get reference from previous employer. You can attach T4 to prove that work exp. Its more important that you have reference letter from present employer. Hope for best ...

But is this really needed since I have already completed a full year of employment with my currently employer from whom I have an up to date reference letter. Therefore complying with one year of employment requirement without the need of my first employment.
