Sorry I know am changing the topic but no one has replied yet and I need to know ASAP.

I got admission into a 2 year PG Certificate course and would like to change my program and college once am there to a 2 year PG Diploma. Can i go ahead on the existing study permit else do i need to inform CIC. Is PG Certificate and PG Diploma at the same level?

This new Rule is for Community Colleges under SPP only or also If I am applying to Universited for MBA or Masters then this Rule would be applicable ????

The new rule applies for SPP & University Category not for General Category

Check the list for General Category

PREFERRED OPTION for proof of funds: you can fulfill the financial requirement by
submitting a copy of an Educational Loan from an Indian Chartered Bank equivalent to at
least first year’s tuition plus $10 000 CAD to cover living and travel expenses for one year.
See information on the following page for the list of acceptable banks

Copy of receipts for payment provided by the University (pre-payment of first term is
strongly recommended)

they also given an alternative option to pay 1 yr tuition fee and an education loan equivalent to 10000 $.

So, it means payment of 1 yrs tuition fee is compulsory to pay whether applying in SPP or uni. category.No doubt canada has toughen the rules, Means don't want every erra gerra student in Canada.

dude there is no erra gerra student in this world, every one is unique... Trust me u r erra gerra too..otherwise i expect you in harward...

And i am happy about new rules, i make a + point, before this student ask their parents for money almost after every 4-8 months and rates usyually goes up( bad indian situation).. So now they have 10000$ worth in account and they will get 1.20% interest and no need to worry about exchange rate... think positive my indian fellows

hi am rahul.
b.tech 67% in 2009,2 years work exp.in relevant field from 2010-12,ielts 7 bands overall with no band less than 6.
got offer from humber in wireless telecommunication.
yesterday my ed.loan got sanctioned for 10 lacs.
today new spp checklist has come,and first year fees is compulsory.
can i withdraw 4 lacs from my loan to pay my 2nd sem fees,leaving 6 lacs in my account.will it be ok ???

also confirm me:-
If i Complete 2 PG programs,one after the other like First i will do PG diploma in Wireless Telecommunication at Humber (8 months) and then PG diploma in Project Mgt.at any college.Will this two 8 months program be considered as 2 years program and will it increase my work permit to 3 years or not ???
will i again have to approve my education loan and pay full one year fees if i have to take admission in 2nd PG program of project mgt.????
