Wainwright City (Alberta)

Hi Everyone, How are you?

I'm living in Canada since 5 years and I'm waiting my permanent residency (soon I hope). My boss gave me a mission in Alberta for a couple of months but I don't know the city where I'll go: Wainwright near canadian army base of Wainwright.

Do you have some informations about this city?

I went to wainwright town website and checked on the internet, but I'd like other information from people this time. My boss just said: "oh it's like a countryside"...

Small town Alberta. About 7,000 people plus about 1-2000 military moving inand out. Large live fire military base outside of town. About 2ish hours from Edmonton. Nice area, but it's still small town Alberta.

I know it's a small town , I'm just curious: The base are near the town? (like you can do it without a car?)
