whoopi is there any time limit like how long a pr holder can stay outside canada during an application in process. my wife wanna visit me for atleast 1 month ?. her citizenship application is also in process.

Also can u let any1 receive ur pr card at canada address if in case you have to leave canada before receiving it.

1. As long as Canada is her place of residence and she does things like has a job there, remains employed, payes taxes, owns or rents a home etc then she should be ok to travel for as long as she wants (although note physical presence in Canada requitement for citizenship so she will not want to be out too long).

2. I had mine sent (declared address on landing as my partners parents) and left prior to it arriving but I am from a visa exempt country so will be ok returning. You need to be careful if you are a passport holder of a country which is not visa exempt to prevent re-entry issues.
