Better update the status to CHC after u land. If u do it now, yr documents may be recalled and lengthy process will start and u will be stuck as well for long time.jimmy_kallarackal said:I am from india i have received pr visa, but not yet landed.
1. Is it ok if i marry right now in my home country and inform the embassy that i am married and then i alone leave for landing into canada and sponsor my wife once i land immediately.
2. Can i start the process on the first day of landing ?
No - it's not OK to marry before you land and then land alone. If you do this, you will never be able to sponsor your wife and you risk having your own PR status revoked for misrepresentation. Either marry your wife after you land. Or return your visa - marry now and then officially add her to your application (i.e. submit forms, medical, police clearances).jimmy_kallarackal said:I am from india i have received pr visa, but not yet landed.

It says even on COPR papers that we receive that you must let your visa office know should your personal circumstances change before landing, do as it says on the tin mate.jimmy_kallarackal said:I am from india i have received pr visa, but not yet landed.
