UAE, which is why I got confused. There’s a visa office here in Abu Dhabi. So you think it’s London, Canada and not London, England?

Permanent Residence Application for UAE residents is processed in London, United Kingdom. So basically, London is the Local Visa Office for UAE residents.

There’s a difference between a local consulate and a governments processing office. Anyway it’s not such a big deal.. Confusions happen. Hope everything’s clear now.

Yes but in case of Permanent Residence applications, local embassies also process the applications.

For India, New Delhi visa office process certain applications. For UAE, London visa office in UK process certain applications.

They also process UAE residents applications in Abu dhabi. I guess whenever AD VO is overworked they send some applicqtions to London. I sure hope London VO is faster in processing at least!
