Hello all

I am planning to apply for Visitor vvisa for my parents. Which one is better super visa or regular visitor visa. Can anyone say me the differences and forms needed for it.

One more problem i have is

There is a letter missing from my fathers first name from my passport compared to my dads passport.(name mispelled). Is this going to be a problem. If yes can anyone please help me how to solve this.

Moreover my parents are retired and they dont have any income. Should i keep like he has income or should i say they depend on me. Docuemnts should be sent from my side or do they need to keep any documents from my parents too.

Please help me.

Don't make it up.

If they have no income and depends on their savings, then show their assets or financial status in writing such as bank statements. Or if they depend on you, show the evidence etc.

If your own visa timeline on right side is true, i doubt you will be eligible this year to sponsor your parents. Remember you need to meet the LICO condition and for that you need a NOA. You just landed a month ago!! Visitor visa will be hard if your parents don't have income and depend on you for living expenses.

No, there won't be a problem. You can submit your Birth Certificate too if your dad's name is spelled correctly.

This is considered a minor spelling mistake for a passport. If you still prefer, your dad can get a passport re-issue by submitting the relevant documents

Does your dad's name in your passport = Birth Certificate = School Leaving Certificate?

Or is your dad's name different on each of these documents?

Does the drop in alphabet change the name dramatically?

MY dad name is misspelled in my school certificate only. So i followed it in every document from then like Birth certificate, passport. Drop in one letter doesnt change the name dramatically.

His name in passport: vishwanadham
His name in my passport: viswanadham.

Yeah, the 'h' has been dropped.

If you want to re-change every document then it's going to be time-consuming and a lot of work.

What you can do: If the name in your dad's passport is correct.... then do include a couple of other documents which are considered as ID proofs (Driver's License/Aadhar Card/Electoral Voters Card, etc).... and mention this error in the Cover Letter

As a visitor, one can visit

As a visitor, one cannot work whether it is paid work or work that may appear to be unpaid (for example, babysit someone's kids).

As a visitor, one can do part-time/full-time short-term study courses which must be completed within the period authorized upon entry (ie up to 6 months)

Are you referring to TRVs or Super Visas?

btw one does not *sponsor* visitors for TRVs/Super Visas.... one only *hosts* them
