Can you get it translated in english@Sop194, also is it just the statement that is not in english?

My 5th month would be the 10th sending in extension request on the 11th, would that be considered late?

I'm not sure, I'd have to ask about that from my bank.. guess it would not hurt

I am wondering about this bank statement thing now...

I am applying visitor extension too but I was started to wonder, my bank statement is not in english... could that possibly be a problem or do they just want to see how much there is money stated? I guess numbers are the thing that matter.

Thanks :)
I think it is best for you to have it translated to a certified translator and notarized it by a lawyer or ask a bank certificate to your bank and tell them if you can have it in english form. :)

Ok.@Jaylex23... I have a hard copy of the form, I realize it automatically has canada for country of residence my status would be visitor. There is other and a from to date. Im assuming I should leave the from to date blank, as I understand its directed to if selected other status option am I correct in leaving it blank?

Please give form and question number. I don't know what you are talking about.

All submitted documents should be in English or French.

All translations should be notarized translations.

If you are applying online the scan is ok, otherwise you need the hard copy.

It will be a hardcopy that I will print from my email, hopefully by friday the orginal is here.

Hi I am on the process of extending my mother in law visa. And I am the one taking charge of everything but I am confused at one point on the form where it says: My expenses in Canada will be paid by:
- Myself
-Parent
-Other

What should I put? Myself or Other?

Thank you

Hello all,

I have been in canada on my third temp visitor permit extension as my pr is in process. I just wanted to ask u how much funds do u think is enough to get another extension to stay for 5-6 months. Previously i showed substantial amount but now that im not working the bank balance has gonr down. Lol

Any suggestions as to what could be enough and not lead to a refusal?

For me, the first time I extended I put $2000 for 8 months and then also sent documents to prove that my boyfriend was financially responsible and would be paying for everything. For my most recent extension application I put down the salary of my now Common Law partner. I also sent copies of all financial documents and some PR copies to show them that I have my PR application in process. I was advised to put whatever his monthly amount was multiplied by how many months I was requesting.
I hope this helps!!

TracyCa64, I'm curious, what kind of documents you sent to prove that your bf was paying for everything? Bank statements? Thanks

Hi sop194,
I sent in a signed letter from my b/f declaring that he was financially responsible for me while I was a visitor in Canada. I sent in 3 months of pay stubs, bank statements & also a letter from his employer with info about his job.

Hope this helps!!
