No I am here on work permit as UK citizen does not need any visa all they need is just ETA
Then the estimated time applicable might be the time of your home country.

Hoping this should not be the case else it's 60 days :( and then I won't be able to go to Canada as I have planned holidays during Christmas.

Hello,

My brother is applying for TRV for himself and his family. He is unclear what he needs to write in the funds available for trip in each application form (IMM5257) for each person of the family.

Should he write the same amount for each person as they are going as a family? (E.g $1500)

Or

Should he break down the funds and put the different amounts on each form? (E.g. $500 for each person)

Kindly advise.

thanks

Each applicant must state the individual available funds for his/her visit. This can be the combined sum of bank balance, forex, cash, etc.

Available funds is not the total funds that his family will bring.

The covering letters/day-by-day itinerary can state that there will be some common expenses

Hi all need some advice :(

Both myself & my husband are in Canada on TRV - Workers and have stable jobs & our PR application is in process.

We applied visitor visa of our parents as same in being rejected twice (once in August & than in September)

Please advise when should we reapply? And what are the chances of getting same now

Hi Ruchi,

You have been applying in quick succession. Unless there's a change in their circumstances or some new evidence, do not reapply.

It's not possible to guess their chances of approval. They must address their TRV refusal reasons to be successful

Cheers

Not really. It has been more than 26 days since I applied and not a stone moved. I am forced to cancel / alter my travel plans owing to the slowness in the way the application is processed. It would be a miracle if I get an update from them which I see not happening anytime. If at all you get, consider yourself a blessed soul. All the best!!!

Cheers,
Anand

Hi All and Brayanna,

Finally received the original passport request today and here another question comes in mind which is the fastest and reliable method to pay the passport transmission fee (postal orders or Bank Transfer) and how long they normally takes to return the passport as I need my passport back max on 1/12 as need for other purpose?

Please help.

Thank you
