hi everyone , i plan to visit Niagara FALLS on april . can i apply at january . guide me please . And i own a small business like mobile shop , is it possible to get visa . thanks in advance

I applied TRV on Oct 18 and still not heard anything. My medical also shows as Passed, but everything else is Not Started .

Hi,

As per my information, the medical exam is not required for TRV (unless a person has traveled to certain country). Could you please correct me if I am wrong.

I have also not traveled any other country. So, It did not even ask for medical exam form while getting forms for tourist visa. I think, It is not required for first time international travelers.

I filed my application on 3rd November and have also not received any update so far.

Medicals are normally not required for TRVs even if someone has not travel abroad earlier

i do have the same info available online as med is passed and status is open ,as per website info open status corresponds that file has not been processed yet ,and closed mean a decision has been made made ,i assume they have not even started processing our file and yes docs needed status shows the same as yours

Hi Ramesh,

No updates on my application too ..
Yes estimated processing time seems to be decreasing. When I checked, it was showing 33 days.
Hopefully we will get results soon!!

we applied paper application in October and it got rejected.
planning to reapply online application this time.
we got married in march this year and applied for spouse PR in august in which we already approved for first stage(SA).
Now about TRV online application what supporting document i should provide?
My wife has no work history and she never travelled outside India.
My wife doesn't have any property or anything like that on her name.
So I am not really sure what other documents i can provide for her application.
Anybody in the same situation and got approved for TRV?
Really really need your help!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We applied for TRV visitor visa and it got approved in total of 22 days of submitting application (paper application) in India.

Hey, I am in the same situation as you in terms of my wife in India not having any travel history, no job, etc and I applied for TRV online and it took them 11 days to process and unfortunately, I got denied because of travel history, work, etc. Everything else washould good except for that.
