Hi All,

I have applied for Sponsorship for my wife. She is currently working in India. I am planning to apply for her tourist visa before that.

She has no tourist history. So, We are planning to apply for US Tourist Visa before applying for Canadian Tourist Visa. I am planning a trip to US in December and want her to join me there and if she gets her Canadian tourist visa, she can come here as well.

Now my question is, what shall she answer US immigration officer when they ask her, "why she did not apply Canadian Tourist Visa before applying for US Visa?

2. Provided pay stubs for the past 12 months.
3. Bank Statements for the past 12 months.
4. Highlighted Dual Intent.
5. Booked confirmed tickets.
6. Duration i kept 20 days.
7. Purpose of visit - To spend time with me, and touring Canada.
8. Provided my NOAs for the past 7 years.
9. Provided my Property documents in Canada.
10. Proof of Funds.
11. Invitation Letter - Mine
12. Support Letter - Applicant
13. Proof of Relationship
14. Marriage Certificate
15. Medicals Acknowledgement
16. My Citizenship Certificate
17. Trip Photos
18. India Trip Tickets - Domestic travel.
19. Wedding Photos.

and some more supporting documents.

My advise is : Apply after SA, limit the duration to 4 weeks max

Since the processing of my parents visitor visa has exceeded 40 days, is it okay to send a case specific inquiry?

I applied Visitor Visa for my In- Law parents & also applied super visa for my Maternal Grandmother on 31-Aug-2016 at VFS Jalandhar. Yesterday I linked these (3) applications to my GC Key account.

Every file status says: Application Status/Profile : OPEN
Medical results : NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME
FINAL DECESION : NOT STARTED

I have applied for TRV for 4 weeks and I am asked to submit medical. I have already done medical in Feb 2016. Should I submit the same medical document or need to do new medical, as medical reports are valid for 1 year. VFS says its upto us we can submit the February documents or go for a new medical test. So i am confused, kindly guide.
