Hi All,

I need a little help here. I am applying for my parents visit visa from Pakistan. Unfortunately i dont have their Nikah Naama (Marriage Certificate Copy). Will the FRC Document (Family Tree) from Nadra suffice?

Or is there anything else I have to do?

Plus My father is retired, do i have to submit his previous employment letters or evidences also or just mention them in the form?

Yes, you can include it. Documents must be in English or translated into English by a certified translator.

You could also include a copy of your birth certificate which states the names of both parents.

No, he does not have to include his employment records.

He must prove he has adequate ties to return to Pakistan (employment would have been a good tie to show)

Thank you Bryanna!!

The form says i have to mention that he has worked at such and such company 10 years before retirement and even after retirement. After mentioning I dont have to submit his letters? And what about the education history they ask for in the form?

Secondly, my father is the principal applicant whereas my mother is also applying. I dont have to attach any letters for her either right?

What if they ask for evidence since i have mentioned in the forms. I cant leave the form fields black right?

You must state his employment details in the TRV application form, both before and after his retirement. But, he does not have to submit his employment documents. It's the same for his education as well.

No letters of work/education for your mom as well. The reasoning is your parents are not visiting to look for work or to enroll in a study program.

The idea is to provide details of their employment and academic history for IRCC to determine if they have worked in any critical areas that could need extensive background/security checks

No, you cannot leave any field as blank
