Visitors Visa Delay

Hi There, I was wondering why does it take too long to get a final response on a visitors visa?
I'm applying from Colombia and the whole process was done online.

I Applied on April 11,
Submitted the Biometrics on April 25th
My visit was from may 8th to may 28th And I still haven heard anything yet.
They just updated the Biometric info.
And they're also still working on the legibility of the application.

Any suggestions?

Hola! no sé si aplica también a tu situación pero yo también apliqué a una visa temporal el 9 de abril y no tenía respuesta, mi viaje es el 31 de mayo así que el lunes 13 de mayo mandé un formulario web de la IRCC + un correo al IRCC de mi país consultando porque no tenía actualizaciones si ya estaban mis biometricos actualizados en mi cuenta, pregunté si faltaba alguna información extra que pudiera proporcionarles. Al día siguiente (martes 14 de mayo) me enviaron un correo electronico indicando "su solicitud ha sido revisada hoy, ingresar al portal MyCIC y seguir las instrucciones en la carta que se le ha hecho llegar" del IRCC Lima y mi cuenta tuvo una actualización donde me llegó la Correspondence letter y al mismo tiempo me llego el Passport Request y el status de "decision final" cambio a "su solicitud ha sido aprobada". Yo creo que se habían olvidado ya de mi solicitud, porque ni bien les consulté sobre ella al día siguiente me dieron la respuesta. No sé si sea también tu caso pero si ya se pasó el processing time que indican en la pagina del CIC te aconsejaría que envíes un formulario web.

The processing time is 21 days for Colombia. But the time between the application submission and when you actually submitted the biometrics does not count. 21 days is CIC’s processing time.

Also, if it’s now over 21 days, raise a CSE using the IRCC webform.
