The Philippines , i recently got my visitors visa approved but its very odd because review of eligibility and background checks are still being done….
Even though i am very excited about the “approval”, i find if very odd that IRCC would make a decision of approval yet at the same time still be conducting an eligibility check/background check?
Should this not have been done before an official approval has been granted?
If not, what is the purpose of stating “approved” when the processing is not completed ? This gives hopeful people a false sense of security for such a life changing event…
Also received the letter to submit the passport to the IRCC office in Manila
( for stamping i assume)
