If she is in the country on a visitor visa then obviously she is not authorised to work that would be illegal to even try.

If she secure an addmission to do a program (ie study), can she use it extend her stay and workS? She loves the Canada so much.

She could only start working when she was attending school full-time. To get approved to attend school she would have to show strong ties to her home country and proof that she intends to return after her studies.

She needs to start by finding an employer who is willing to hire her as a caregiver.

It would be best if she applied for the work permit from outside of Canada. Generally there's a higher chance of approval.

If your wife is on a visitor visa then she does not have any authority to work in the country, it will be illegal and she could be permanently banned to travel to that country

Please will she need any Canadian license to do the caregiver job or can she use her nursing license from Nigeria? If it's Canadian, how can she acquire the license?
