I got lucky on the employer. You can look for employers with LMIA on the data sets by the government

Was there any biometrics or medical exam required?

Yes LMIA based. Biometrics is exempt because of public policy. Medical, I did not. It depends on the iccupation, how long have u been in canada, and if u have been to designated countries within the past year.

I have been in Canada for more than a year so I wasnt asked to do medicals
