Hi, I need advise or your opinin regarding this matter.This made me anxious.

I worked abroad for 7 years and because I helped someone I guaranted my passport so she can go out from Jail.She owed Money from the Bank.She had no one.I was young and innocent and no idea of any consequences if she can't give back my passport very soon.It reached to the point that my visa got expired and she was only able to release my passport after 2 years.

So I was overstayed.but now I am back to my home country.


Do you have any idea if Canada immigration will dig all my visa status from that country?Just to clear I have no criminal records.

This is really killing me inside.

Please help me.

In your passport, on the page of Dubai, if they look carefully, they can see the date of seal exceeded your expiration date. I haven’t been to Dubai, so I don’t know if they use seal or they use the kind of system like US, that your departure won’t show on your passport but will show in their system.
as far as I know, only US and Canada share records on that. I don’t think they will ask Dubai to provide your information for this single case.
But if there’s a seal with date on your passport, they may see it and ask you to explain.

Yes I do have entry and exit stamp in Dubai.since for 7byears i only had 1 vacation and that was 2012.then I went back to dubai 2012 also after a 3 weeks vacation.then i went home for good 2 years ago.

I made research that it uae and canada are not sharing biometric datas.

I hope they won't
