Visitor visa

Hello people!
Ive got some questions regarding visitors visa. Me and my spouse have started the Outland spousal sponsorship process, but meanwhile we were thinking about applying for visitors visa. I wanted to know will that be a good and guaranteed approach for him to come here. And if the visitors visa is approved, what steps can we take to get work permit. Thankyou !

A work permit would have been a possibility with an inland sponsorship not an Outland. Coming as a visitor would need to go through the LMIA process with an employer to get a work permit. Of course no guarantee of getting a visitor visa in first place.
