You can check the estimated processing time for your country of residence on the IRCC website. Do note that these are only estimates. Actual processing time will vary from application to application

Hi i applied from doha QATAR when i applied it was reflecting 30 days but now chnged to 97 days my plan to visit is in feb scond week so now m worried whats gonna happen... Any way to expedite my application?

Im indian national currently wrking with QATAR AIRWAYS resident permit calid till 2019.
Strong travel history
Uk 6 times,4 times shenghan.hongkong,macau,colombo, bkk,georgia,usa visa 10 yrs valid,netherland visa 1 year valid. Etc
Any chances to mail or call thm and expedite my application i planned my birthdy in canada with my friend

There's no way you can expedite the processing.

If processing time crosses the time stated on the IRCC website (for Qatar) then you can send a Case Specific Enquiry. You'll just have to wait patiently until then

My travel dates r 8th to 16 feb in case m not getting any revert till feb.
Then in that case can i amend my dates for later travel or i will consider my visa application as Rejected.
And need to pay fees n gonna apply again!!!

Your travel dates have no impact on the TRV decision.

You can change your travel plans anytime. You don't have to pay the visa fees again unless you get a refusal (hopefully it won't happen)

1 more thing need 2 knw my friend applied with me she is srilankan national wrking in qatar she gave her Biomatric on 3rd jan but till now no Confirmation mail or status chnge in her profile also v both applied separate but mentioned in letter v r travlling 2gthr kindly advice how long it will take to update biomatric status or do v need to check again with VFS office for d same

You will get all updates/change in status only in your MyCIC account. There won't be any updates/confirmation by email

Nothing is chnged regarding Biomatric so do i need to visit vfs center again regarding biomatric updates as its almost 2 weeks gone bothis updated in online application

No, you don't need to contact VFS for the biometrics. You can be rest assured that the VFS staff have taken/uploaded the biometric information

Hi processing time is chnging evry week so which 1 i'll consider when i submittd my application it was showing 30 days later next week increased to 97 days now it is reflecting 23 days visitor visa from qatar kindly advice which 1 i'll consider as its almost 20 days gone still nothing updated in my online application status is OPEN since i submitted my application.

The processing time you see on the IRCC website is based on the volume of applications received each week. That's why it keeps changing every week. This processing time was the average time taken to process 80% of the applications.

As you have applied online, your application could be processed by any visa office in the IRCC global network. And not necessarily by the visa office nearest to where you are.

There's no option but to wait patiently
