My mother in law's validity for her visitor visa was 2023/11/03. Unfortunately she didn't inform us in time for the application and her status is now expired. I am having trouble submitting the application, specifically the IMM 5708 form. When I answered questions regarding her expiry of the status, it prompted me to restore the status which we need to do but in the application from it's not letting me validate the document with the date because it's in the past and it says the data needs to be greater than today's date.
If I put in a different date than what I answered in the questions, it still doesn't validate but if I answer the question incorrectly on the website then it doesn't prompt to restore status.
Has anyone gone through this situation and has a solution, it will be greatly appreciated.
