Hi, I have a question. So IRCC has sent a message to me to do the medical exam for my mother. When she is done with the medical exam, will she be given anything by the physician( a receipt or document) that I would have to send to IRCC notifying them that the medical is done or does the physician send the results directly to IRCC?

So I am assuming that they will just need to take the form they have sent in the portal and go for the exam?
Yes, they take a printout, carry their original passports plus a photocopy, any eyeglasses or prescription meds and Covid vaccination evidence (if willing to share) and go to the designated doctor. At the end of the test, the doctor might or might not give the results to the applicant depending on whether the hospital has eMedical or not. In most cases, they send the results directly to IRCC, applicant doesn't need to do anything (except in upfront medicals). Hope this helps.

Hello, This is not about SOWP but regarding visiting a spouse.
A spouse of a student currently in Canada wants to apply for a visitor's visa. There is a section that asks for the occupation of the person they are visiting (student). There is no section for student. If the spouse selects the option "Unemployed", do you think it can hinder the chances of the spouse getting the Visit visa?
Some things to note, the spouse has enough money for her own proof of funds. Her in-law in Canada is also inviting her and can provide proof of funds. Does her spouse status of "Unemployed" selected in that occupation section hinder her chances?

Applied for my brother on September 22, 2023. Gave Biometrics on September 28, 2023. Eligibility started on Oct 5, 2023.

Anyone has any luck applying for an unmarried sibling and getting Approved?
