Generally speaking, birthdays and anniversaries are not considered as compelling reasons to visit. Also, you have the option of celebrating your anniversary in India/another country (especially if you have not previously traveled to other visa-required countries).

You should include a detailed day-by-day visit plan with expense estimates.... and prove you can afford the plan for two persons.

It's not advisable to reapply in haste or reapply the next day. You must prove you have addressed the refusal reasons with new, convincing evidence/new explanations that prove your circumstances have changed

thank you for ur reply. as u have mentioned we have a good travel history.in last application we have already mentioned we have visited Australia.
i also showed my good bank statement of 9 lakh indian rupees.and a established business.

we want to reapply tommrow. below is my new cover letter pararagh. plz respond . i need your advise on my cover letter.

I have applied for tourist visa on 29th of November 2019 & it is so unfortunate for me that my visa was refused based on my purpose of visit. I believe I have not given clear information on purpose of visit in my last application. i will try to give my best reason why we want to Visit Canada to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary which is going to be on 25th of January 2019. we are hoping to have approved visa this time.

We have been married almost 1 year now and as I mentioned in my last application that our main purpose of visit to Canada is to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary . I would like to give a nice gift to my wife by taking her far away from home, keeping everything aside and want her to feel special and appreciated. i believe it's an important moment in both of our live and it's a celebration of love for each other. this is our sentimental occasion. we have been planning since last 6 months and dreaming to celebrate our anniversary in Canada. we can also celebrate our anniversary in Asian countries like Thailand, Indonesia and Sri Lanka which is very affordable and actually good destinations but we don't want to visit those countries at this moment .we want to go to Canada for the reason it is one of our dream country for both of us because January is coldest month of the year, and also usually snowiest which is our dream to have fun in snow like skiing, snowboarding, visiting Toronto light festival, explore Toronto island, museums, bonfire and much more. I will be bearing all the expenses for me and my wife throughout this trip including flight and hotel booking expenses which includes travel, subsistence, leisure and any other circumstantial needs.

my father and elder brother is working in Saudi Arab and i was also working as an accounts clerk for 5 years in _____. my mother was alone in home country . so I planed to come back and stay with her. i have two sisters. both are married and during my visit to Canada my mother is going to live with one of my sister for few days.

please help me in creating good cover letter. its a request.
Thank you

I was more commenting about the need for an affidavit, it would be useless in this case since you are just writing an affidavit for yourself which doesnt add any weight to your application. So a normal letter of explanation is fine no need for affidavit.

It's advisable if you assess your application on the basis of what the visa officer would like to see, and not what you presume is "good travel history'.

It's also common for some applicants to travel to relatively easier visa-required countries such as the UK, Schengen (Greece, France and the like), or Australia before applying to Canada.

Do you have a relative/family member in Australia? Or was your visit through a tour company?
How long was your trip to Australia?

i also showed my good bank statement of 9 lakh indian rupees.and a established business.
Was this your personal income or business revenue?
Was any of it borrowed from someone or transferred between bank accounts?

I'm sure most people who truly want visas won't apply the next day after a refusal.

Do keep in mind: Purpose of visit is a generic refusal reason. Your new application might completely miss the actual refusal grounds if you are not cautious + if you don't assess your application as a complete package.

Quite honestly, the visa officer won't care + won't bother about sentiments/emotional reasons for visiting Canada.... especially if you don't have relatives/family.

Again, you need to evaluate your application as a complete package and not focus on just the Purpose of visit. IMO, you do NOT have a convincing purpose of visit
