visitor visa rejected by mistake not mentioned in application

Man i am also now feeling i am in fix after reading this forum.

I had applied visitor visa 10 years back for usa. It was refused due to insufficent funds.
And my wife had applied for canada student visa some 8 years back. that had same luck.


After reading this looks like we have to resubmit 5669E form again.

Have you called cic about change in your application yet ?
i have just finished updating my documents and scanning them. I will send them online by specific enquiry shortly.
Thinking if i could also call them and inform.

with updated information.
Got the email confirmation of reciept. Now ball in thier court.

thanks for the valuable update. I am meeting my consultant afain tomorrow and do the update. So pls can you guide me the procedure you followed? If possible can we talk on viber? As it would be of great help before talking to my consultant. Can exchange number on PM.

I do have same issue.
I was refused US twice. And I didn't mentioned that in background declaration form while applying
To make sure whether I need to update the application form or not I asked to one of my senior brother who is already in Canada since last 4 years.
He had also previously applied US and rejected. But even he didn't mentioned in his application form.
He said that don't worry with this problem.
So now I am free from this tension.

hi thanks for the moral support. much needed to bring a smile :). well whats your status and did you take any steps to correct this mistake? i had a word with a kind member of this forum yesterday. he had updated the vo, even i am meeting my consultant today.

Hi uvig,
I received my PER on 25th of November.
I am not going to correct the mistake because it will delay the process.
I had a visit to my consultant yesterday and asked if I could correct it but they said that if you will then your application will get delay up to 3 to 4 years. And you don't need to worry as you wasn't rejected to Canada.
On the same night I talked with one of senior bro in Canada which I have already said in previous post.

This looks like a positive from cic side, But Sheray , at the time of your US visa rejection do you have any rejection stamp on it. Because when i went to US B1 interview , VO just returned my passport with any rejection stamp on it, Even i don`t know the reason, What reason have you included in your mail to cic. Please respond you reply will be highly appreciated.

14 year back I had Applied to usa ! Got rejected due to low bank balance ! They told while saying no!
8 years bAck wife applied for student visa got rejected due to doubt on intent to return !

what did you mention in the reason, DId you say that due to low bank balance ???
