hi all, my brother and his wife visitor visa is refused. we provide all the documents and more than enough funds but they refused and gave the reason- insufficient funds, inconsistency with stay and the officer is not satisfied if they will leave at the end of their stay. we provide everything like job letter, pay stubs. i need help to applying for reconsideration. whats the process? how to apply it? please help.

Order GCMS notes. Where do they live? How long was visit? How much in cash did they show in their own personal accounts? So they provided ties to return - job letter with approved leave, business, income property etc.
Reconsideration is if there is an error in law, don’t know if there is an error. Reconsideration is not including new documentation. Sometimes easier to reapply.

So how much in cash in the bank did they show? Were funds over a 4 month period? Do they have children?
So $16k Cdn for 2 people - not enough if that is all their cash. Want $10k minimum per person. Using all their cash for a visit.

They can apply for reconsideration through webform saying there was an error in law and they have enough funds. There are no timelines so they may not get any response or may after several months.
Well, it was definitely not enough for the decision maker. This one is simple, they need to show more available cash for each of them.
The other more complex point is to prove that they will leave at the end of their stay.
You'd better reapply with updated documents.
