Hi Rish,

Your aunt must include some evidence that she is related to her nephews.

1. We have added a detailed Request letter for issuing visitor visa and clarified her purpose there. We are also attaching a separate itinerary letter where we have mentioned that she will stay with her nephews family but will also visit some places at specific dates. Will it work?
Yes. The itinerary can include expense estimates (to prove she has the finances)..... although accommodation/travel and living expenses will be taken care of by her nephews.

Do we need to clarify why we have reduced stay lenght such significantly? If yes, how?
Plans change. You don't have to explain it.

You can, however, include a must-return-by-date event to prove she will return by XX date. This will indirectly explain the shorter visit.

However, to make her case strong, she has deposited some cash savings (source explained in letter, no proofs available)
Hope the cash can be explained convincingly.... without proofs, it will be difficult.

Im not sure how Visa Officers calculate cost for a 3 week trip or how to calculate cost for each day, Any suggestions?
The itinerary will indicate the funds required for the visit + airfare + incidental expenses

UCI - Last time in refusal letter, we got a UCI number. Is it mandatory to quote this number in this new application?
Yes

Is it ok to reuse this? Is there any expiration date for using such documents for the second time?
Bank statements need to be as recent as possible. Other documents can be used if it is 45 days later

More importantly, what ties will your aunt show:
1. Is she employed/business/retired?
2. Owns property or land? Or a lease agreement in her name?
3. Dependent family members?

Cheers

Hi Bryanna,

Thank you for your sincere response. I had one additional question:

In TRV application form> Background Information >What is the difference between 2(B & 2(C ? Which one to choose in case of previous visa refusal?

We have attached Birthcertificate and passport copies to do that

You are right.

We are trying to do that

The funds was withdrawn from her account for some other works and unused amount was redeposited. We explained this.

Yes. I calculated per week cost on average 1100 CAD + airticket

Bank statements need to be as recent as possible. Other documents can be used if it is 45 days later

ok.

More importantly, what ties will your aunt show:
1. Is she employed/business/retired? - She is retired
2. Owns property or land? Or a lease agreement in her name?- Has several properties in her name, documents are provided with affidavit and notarization
3. Dependent family members? - Her grandchildren lives with her as their parents are busy with jobs and often outside the city. We have mentioned this in the letter.

Cheers

You're welcome :)

You must answer 'Yes' to both 2b and 2c..... State the UCI number + the previous TRV application date + refusal reasons

Hi Bryanna!
May I also kindly ask for your opinion?
I was also refused on my TRV application last Aug and i applied again this sept however i was not able to indicate my UCi on my 2nd application.. I am not aware about this that it is mandatory to put the UCI :(
Will this have a negative impact on my current application? It's been already 25 days now and i have not yet received a decision from CIC
Also i am supposed to leave last oct8.
I am clueless if this will have an implication of being refused again since i have submitted an explanation letter and attached a leave form from employer that im taking a vacation to visit my hisband in canada this oct.8-29 and i have not yet received decision

Hi mrsdiaz,

If the UCI Number is known then it must be stated. Otherwise the form can be filled without the UCI Number. Not mentioning the UCI Number is not a reason to be refused.

You can send a CSE to the visa office saying you had inadvertently missed mentioningyour UCI Number + you will be happy to provide any additional information/documents to make an expedited decision

Hope you get your TRV soon
