Hello! Can anybody help me how can I make my family ties in my home country stronger? What documents can I add?
Purpose: Family Visit esp for my grandparents’ birthday on March 2024 (My family in Canada are my grandparents, uncle and aunt, and their children (my 2 cousins)
Profile: Currently studying 3rd year Nursing in my home country now. So, no work and businesses documents I can provide.

Documents Provided:
  • Certificate of Enrollment
  • Itinerary (Plane tix to Canada on March and Plane tix to Philippines on April)
  • Police Clearance
  • Birth Certificate of My Parents living in my home country

Should I include our house property and land property documents on my next application? What specific documents should I provide? Your answers will be greatly appreciated. Please help me, thank you so much!

Unfortunately you cannot strengthen family ties if single. Parents are not a tie to return. Do they have Canadian visas? How long was visit? Was that the only reason for refusal. Keep visit to 2 weeks.

Instead focus on economic ties - paid tuition with enrollment dates, if you have a part-time job then job letter with approved leave, any properties, investments in your name esp ones that are income properties.

My parents are Philippine residents without Canadian Visas. Funds were also the reason 30,000CAD on my grandparents’ bank account (with letter of support) and 4,000CAD on my bank account. Unfortunately, our properties are on my parents‘ name and I can only provide paid tuition in the list you provided. I have no work right now as I am focusing with my studies. Would that suffice? What more can I add?

Your grandmother’s funds are not considered. You need to increase your own funds by quite a lot. IRCC wants you to show your own funds, not those of extended family members. A letter of support would not be a good idea because it says to IRCC that you cannot afford your own visit. Funds should be enough to come to canada and visit but have savings left over. Properties are not in your name, so not relevant.

You need to show proof of when your studies start and paid tuition.
