Visitor Visa Refused - Evaluation of GCMS notes - Seeking Advice

Update:- My mother TRV is approved today. I reapplied in December 2021. This time I showed more funds in my mother’s account. Also, I addressed previous refusal reasons in details like strong ties to home country etc. Thanks @canuck78 for your suggestions.

Hey congratulations. We're in a similar boat and have the first application refused. It was for parents-in-law and we put a combined amount of 4.5 lakhs. Similar reason, to just visit after 5 years. Can you please provide more details on how you positioned your application, cover letter, how much funds, did you change the reason for the visit, etc.
And also to increase funds, did you add a the additional amount immediately, or slowly?
Purpose of visit was same as the previous application.
For the strong ties to home country, I mentioned about her house (which was mentioned previously as well), ties with her grandchildren that how often they visit her and she loves being with them etc. Also, explained her desire to see Canada during summers.
Financial condition - This time I did not show any bank statements but a balance certificate from the bank. I put more money in her account - around 25 lakhs and I also attached my employment letter.
