Hi,
I am filling in the application for my parents for visitor visa. I start going through the questionnaire and some of the questions are a bit confusing:
1. Do you have a family member who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and is 18 years or older? (An applicant's closest relatives, in the context of an application to IRCC. It is defined as a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children.) - Now, I am 18 and PR in Canada but I am not dependent on my parents. So, I need to select "NO". Correct?
2. Do you depend on someone for financial support? (Financial support means that your sponsor provides money to help you pay for food, living expenses, etc.) - Now, my parents will bring some money, but I am going to bear their expense while they are here. What do I need to select here? YES or NO?
3. Do you want to submit an application for a family member? - Should I select "YES" since I am thinking of my father as primary applicant and mother as the dependent (in the same application).
Thanks.
