Visitor Visa or PR?

Hi,

I am currently staying in Canada as a visitor, my visiting status expires on Dec 2016. I recently got a remedical request from cic last month. I did the remedical and send it to them. From the notes I came to know that I might get an interview. For that I have to go to India since its outland process.

So my doubt is do I have to apply for the extension of my visitor visa or just wait till December to know the status? Even if I get an interview I want to go there and come back as soon as possible. I just want to stay with my wife, what is my best option?

I think your best option is to apply for an extension just in case everything isn't completed by December. It's better to be safe

Thank you. I have send some additional docs to cic to prove our relationship is genuine. I dont know if they will waive my Interview or not. Is there anyway I can check that? Is it ok if I apply for GCMS notes one more time?

Hopefully somebody else can answer that question for you. I'm not sure.

You can apply to extend your visitor status up until it actually expires, so you may as well just wait until the end of November.

You can apply for GCMS notes as much as you want.
