Visitor visa not processed even after processing time

I got no reply till today.
Applied at vfs Chandigarh on 23rd
Application received at consulate on 28th
No reply till now!

Although my guess is as good as yours, I think you may get a decision sometime after the first week of January. But perhaps you may get lucky and a decision before this year ends

Yeah 3 days left for new year . but its already over a month maybe i will get my passport in next 3 days. I attached the ticket in my application of 25th dec but afterwards I cancelled it.
Should i contact canada visa office regarding my application or not ?
Any suggestions?

While you can certainly send a Case Specific Enquiry (CSE) to request the visa office for an expedited decision, I think you will get a TRV decision before you get a response to your CSE.

There's no delay in your case if you consider the estimated processing time posted on the IRCC website

I applied Nov 9th and still no response I was supposed to get my brother here on xmas holiday. Now they can refuse his visa i guess ?

There's a good chance your brother may get a TRV even if he gets a decision after the Xmas holidays

The online status shows Review of Medicals in progress.

Any idea what does this mean?

I sent that back in the days yes. Should I send a new one ? CIC started processing files received before Nov 14th online last week. Could be why ? I sent mine Nov 9th.
