Visitor Visa for Parents and In-Law (separate applications)
In-Law application:
June 19th: Application submitted
June 29th:
Biometrics completed
no update since.
Parents application:
June 29th: Application submitted
July 5th: Biometrics completed
no update since.
In-Law application:
June 19th: Application submitted

Parents are in India. I applied on behalf of them from Canada.
As I mentioned above my parents have valid US B1/B2 visa, which might have helped to expedite the process

Hi and congratulations. Did you include a letter of invitation even though they had a US visa?
Start of the application in the questionnaire, when I mentioned my parents have valid US B1/B2 visa, checklist generated did not have Invitation letter or nothing related to financial support. To make application strong I included all additional info under client information
For your question- Yes, under client info I include following
1) Invitation letter
2) Itinerary and Purpose of travel
3) Financial support docs from my end as I am sponsoring them
Hello everyone. My brother was filing for a visit Visa to visit me. I wanted to ask and get recommendations whether in the Cover letter explaining the purpose of Visit, is it acceptable/wise to give a Bullet Header and then stating or elaborating on it. For example
