Hi so below i have posted the invitation letter i typed for my mother, would be great if someone could let me know if this would work or if theres something i should add or take off.

Letter of invitation for parent XYX



We, XXX a citizen of Canada born on XXX daughter of XYX and XXXX ,the son in law born on XXX currently a permanent resident working as a Family Physician for XXX would like to invite our mother/mother in law respectively XYX to visit us in XX Canada.

Her entire trip expenses including a private health insurance will be covered by us. While she is in Canada she will reside at our home mentioned above in XX. Apart from that she will bring a sum of CAD 2500 for her personal expenses which will be backed by her bank statement.

We really want her to visit us here so she could spend some time with her grandson, who does not have any family close by, and we are looking forward to take her around XXX to see the beauty of the land we live in. Also we are planning to fly to Toronto while she is here to visit extended family and take her to see the Niagara falls and other attractions around Toronto.

We are expecting her to visit from August 25th to September 1st. Please be advised that she will not overstay her visit since she is not used to the extreme winter temperatures and would prefer to be here while its warm.

I'd take out the bit about overstaying. First, no need to bring up overstaying, and secondly, that logic doesn't make sense - if someone is going to overstay, the weather really isn't going to stop them .

You should just stop after 1 aug to Sep 25.

The story part of your letter, above, where you state why you want to invite your mom is good. You just need to include all the details IRCC wants to see, per the above link.
