I am a Pakistani citizen and resident of USA for the last couple of years. I took interview with US embassy in Ottawa for H1-B stamping in the last week of Jan 2011 and my case was put under administrative processing. It's been close to seven weeks now and so far the case is still pending. I am thinking about planning to travel to Pakistan and once the processing is going to be complete, I intend to travel back to Canada to get my passport stamped with H1-B as I have been told by the embassy that I cannot mail my passport to the embassy for stamping, I have to be here in Ottawa personally. I have a single entry visit visa for Canada and I understand that I'll need to get another visit visa to enter Canada once I leave from here. My question is that is it possible to apply for another visit visa while I am still here in Canada as the process of getting visas in Pakistan is quite strict as well as it takes quite a lot of time. Please guide so that I can take appropriate decision in this regard.
