Hello All,

My mom has been in Canada on visitor visa and her 6 months stay will expire in next month.

If we travel to USA by air , stay there for 2 weeks can she come back again by air to stay in Canada for 6 months again.

I would highly appreciate experts advise.

Thank you very much!

Why not just apply to extend her visa?
Whether she's given additional time is entirely up to CBSA at the point of entry. Could be anything from 6 months to a refusal.

Thanks for your reply!

Reason is, last time she visited us around the COVID and we had to extend her stay because of very limited flights available.
I am thinking if I put an application to extend her again, her future visa application, once current visa get expired may get affected because of this. As we got her current visa after 3 refusal.
