visitor visa Help Please

One Quick Question:
as per the application status tracker, below is the update for my visitor visa:

Application submitted: Jul 20, 2023
Biometrics: Jul 20, 2023

On 5th Sept status changed to:
eligibility: completed:
Background verification: in progress:
Overall status: Closed

I don't know what to say, even I have asked my representative to check if he has received any email for PPR or rejection. but no update
can anyone update if they know what could be the reason for the delay?

even my friend raised GCM notes on 28th Sept but still no response and raised a webform

can anyone give their feedback?

Still in background check. GCMS notes take at least a month. Where do you live?

Did you see the visa document details on the tracker and also did you get passport request yet?
Without these two, it might probably means rejection. Because tracker status usual closed when you send your passport to VAC for stamping and once Visa has been issued on your passport and ready to be received by you, everything on your tracker will change to COMPLETED including the background check.. all will be in GREEN color.

but the problem is after 5th September there is no update on GCKey portal for rejection or PPR

That’s how it usually be. They won’t send message that your application has been rejected, the moment the tracker says application closed. But truthfully, the application has been denied and there is nothing you can do unless you send a Webform to them and pray they reopen your application, that’s all.

I raised webform many times and even raised GCM notes
its strange that they are least interested to reply

If your application status on tracker is marked CLOSED and you do not see a visa doc number on tracker.. Higher chances are that the application has been denied.
Wait for PPR or rejection. Webform or ATIP request will not help.

Please wait for a reply before sending multiple emails. One of the reasons it take so long to reply is people send so many repeat emails
