I have SA and file transfer, waiting on AOR2. My problem is how to demonstrate that she will return/ties to her country. We have zero financial docs on her side and she has no assets etc

Then go with honesty, this was the letter i sent them with the application:
Dear Visa officer,
In order to extend my stay in Canada i must show ties to my home country that will prove that i'll leave Canada at the end of the extension period, but the truth, dear officer, is that i have absolutely no ties to my home country and i left my studies (the only tie) back home to stay here.
The truth also is that i don't have plane ticket back home for the future simply because i'm not planning to leave Canada until the sponsorship process is finished, then we are planning to go visit my family.
If CIC sees fit that i must leave Canada then of course i'll respect the decision, i just really wanna stay with my wife because i can't see myself without her.
I chose to apply with extreme honesty as i believe everything can be achieved with pure honesty. I'm also writing this note in average language to express myself as well as possible.
With your permission, Sir/Madam, i'm asking to extend my stay until December 2016 as it is expected that the immigration process will be finished by that time.
Your decision will be respected, no matter what it is. Thank you.

I asked for one year and got 1.5 years.

I am thinking to apply for my husband's visitor visa in May. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Ottawa8950

Did you apply for TRV directly or after SA approval ?

I live in Ajax, own a home and restaurant. My wife has job in India. I would like to apply for TRV (Visitor Visa) for my wife.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks,

Hi
I applied after SA approval. I hired immigration Lawyer and applied online. They requested medical first and then issued TRV visa. Total processing time was 4 weeks. Approved for 10 years multiple visa. I am housewife, not working.
Thanks

Thank you for the response.

Any additional documentation for Visa ?
Financial Status, How much money we need to show in bank account and other documents ?

BTW, What's the current turn around time for SA approval.

Show as much as possible. Both fixed assets and cash.
Currently turnaround time for Delhi consulate is 16 calendar days.

I would like my husband to visit in August.

I am also planning to apply for TRV for my wife to visit me in August. I'm preparing cover letters and invitation letter etc. once done I will apply in May starting. It may take 2-4 weeks to process. I guess 1-2 months in advance would be good, one can explain travel plans better, so that they don't doubt anything

I think there are some applicants who are interested in applying TRV in near future. I encourage them all to please share their application status.

In my case, I'm the sponsor and have received SA & AOR2 in March end. Me and my wife both are working. I'm applying for her visitor visa so she can visit me in August. I'm planning to do paper file. I will send my supporting letters and documents to her in India and then she will apply in vfs.

I'm simply preparing an invitation letter explaining our relationship and purpose of her visit. and another letter for financial support to her. on her side there will be a cover letter explaining again the purpose of visit and our relationship. rest are all other supporting documents like passport copies, marriage certificate, wedding photos, job letters, bank statements, pay stubs, tax forms, flight tickets, travel medical insurance, SA & AOR2 letters and of course the completed application forms with checklist and application fee. please let me know if im missing out anything here or anything which can be added to support the application.

thank you & goodluck!!

There is another member 'Gearbox' whose wife also received medical request for TRV although she had done it for PR. And after the medical her TRV was approved. So it should be good news for you also :)
I would say just try another panel physician or check with Gearbox.

Just an FYI

TRV medical is NON EDE type
Spousal medical is EDE type

when you get asked for medical again, just tell your doctor that it is Non EDE type and they will take care of it.
