Visitor Visa from USA - June 2022 - Timeline

Is there any update from anyone who applied for TRV in the month of June from USA? I applied on June 23, submitted biometrics on July 7 and after that no update. Please reply anyone whose TRV is recently approved by IRCC, USA.

yes, i got a passport request 5 days ago.

i have started my application for visitor visa on june 10th and have given biometrics on june 20th. I was following this thread since my case’s processing time surpassed the average processing time of 30-40 days.

i was furious about what’s happening with my application and submitted a web form, just be patient, you should hear from ircc soon!

thanks for the reply. Actually I have a valid work permit as I completed my Masters from Canada. I had to upload only passport, Canada open work permit, biometric and medical exam. I am really tensed. I am applying from USA and now trying to enter into Canada with travel visa in order to settle there with a full-time job. Do you know anyone who got approved for TRV around June/July application date?

I applied june 8th for my husband from canada here and hes in Nigeria..nothing yet since then,pls let me know if there is any update...Thanks

I submitted the application for visitor visa from USA, here is my timeline:
6 June, 2022 - Application Submitted.
10 June, 2022 - Biometrics given at VAC NY
19 August, 2022 - Received Original Passport Request.
