I am hoping someone here can help me with my question, my mother has a visitor permit of Canada until aug 2019 n currently residing in Canada as well, she will be travelling in 2 weeks to back home to pk n will apply for trv from there but just needed to know if she needs to include the visitor permit in the application n also for just the trv do we need to include the proof of medical insurance for one year or is it only for super visa? from my research she cant get trv within Canada its only for study permit n work permit n needs to apply from her country of nationality .

Your mom's case is one of the most unusual cases for visitor status if I remember correctly. I think she has lived in Canada for 6-8 continuous years as a visitor, right? Or has it been longer than that? Anyways.

No, she does not need to include her visitor permit in her TRV application. Her visitor status will lapse when she leaves the country.

No, medical insurance is not required for TRV applications. But, it's always a good idea to have insurance.
