Hi all Please advise me ,
I submitted my visitor visa application on 13th August and did my biometrics on 16 th but after 3 weeks still not a an update and my background verification still not completed . is it normal or bad sign?

Thanks but my application is stucking in back ground check and even my eligibility is not started is it normal ?

Nothing is stuck. You applied 3 weeks ago and processing is 4-5 months. Eligibility may not start until back ground is completed. Eligibility may not start for another couple of months.

People have got their visas from London recently less than a month how come you say 5 months ? that processing times are only estimates and not accurate. how long it took for your visa ?

Depends which citizenship you hold in the UK, some do not need a visa at all, just an eTA

Did you even click on the link for processing times? It is 4-5 months if not a UK citizen. Who are these people? Do they have a US visa or had a Canadian visa. If so then eligible for CAN+ processing.

Have you tracked your application ? is it stuck in background check? mine is stuck.

Yes it just says in progress and unfortunately, the processing times on ircc are 411 days for a supervisa whereas in india its only 49 days!
