Hello guys,

Today, my wife received letter from consulate to submit marriage pictures as additional documents along with passport back. Can I submit these to nearest VFS again? Or do I need to send them to consulate in delhi by courier?

Also , is this any good sign to approve visa or the situation is still the same ?

dont you have your wife and your picture on marrige certificate? I am going to apply within 2 days but dirctly for open work ,so I wonder why they need your pictures, my husband and me have pictures on marrige certificate? did you married recently? I mean maybe they want to be sure if you are really married? or maybe beacuse you dont have your pics on marrige certificate.

Hi Vafa,

Yes we do not have pictures on our marriage certificate. But that's the way the our local municipality gives marriage certificate ...I can't do anything about it. So I guess they are asking for marriage pics to make sure marriage is genuine. What do you think? And yes we are recently married ...before 3 months...

it is because international marrige certificates have pictures, we have because ours is international, so it is not problem dont worry, and they want to be sure that as you said you really married not just for helping someone to come to canada I think, USA embassy asks for it always, so they do the same thing, good luck, we all need pray, just lets pray for each other, post here when you get reply and dont forget to believe and pray..

I am from Azerbaijan my husband from Turkey, marrige certificate is from turkey and it is international marrige certificate, we have from my country too, itis as yours without picture, so I didnt use it

I have heard of local and international driving licenses but not marriage licenses! So if you dont have an international marriage certificate does that mean you become single when you cross the border into another country? And can marry again?

of course no..you are still married..and your marrige certificate is prove of your marrige, dont worry about that at all, I am sure about that, it is because we are from different countries, he is turkish and I a azeri, if he were from my country I would have the same certificate as you, dont think about that..your certificate is enough ..
