I am a USC. My soon to be wife is Myanmar (Burma). We live in Singapore. We will marry in the USA and return to Singapore, after the honeymoon. We are using a K1 visa to goto the USA, but we will not be applying for her residence there.
We have no future plan to live in the USA. I am just not compatible with how people behave there. She cannot handle the way Western children behave in public. So for the sanity and, safety of everyone, we will steer clear of the USA long term.
Her sister is married to a USC who is a permanent resident in Canada. We will want to visit next year. I do not need a visa, but she does. I have a good paying job in Singapore. She has a job here. I am her only other tie. Is that strong enough for her to get a visa to visit Canada?
I have over $200k in assets in the USA, and plenty in savings in Singapore. We can cover our expenses.
Her brother-in-law will write a sponsor letter.
Sorry, I am typing on my iPad.
