Visitor visa for retired police officer

My father is retired police officer(sub inspector). He reyired in 2019. We applied fir his visa and we got request to send details about this entire career span? Anyone face same situation? How much time they take once we submit this information?

Yes quite common, military and police officials (current or ex.) need to provide details of the tasks they used to do. Just make a writeup explanation document in details and provide exact duties and locations/ranks etc on it.

Hi there, can you please share how much detail did you mentioned in military form? I have applied for my father as well and he too is a retired ASI. I mentioned General duties and responsibilities but i have been asked to give details in there recently. I just need a little guidance on how much detail should be mentioned. An example will be really helpful.

can anybody help here, its been a year I applied for my Father Visitor Visa to Canada, and no approval he is currently SI in India.
